I've done about 600 on various platforms. Friends say I need 1000+. Others say quality matters more. What actually matters in interviews?

600 is plenty if you can explain your approach out loud. Practice mock interviews now, solving silently and solving while talking are different skills.

As an interviewer: I care more about how you think, communicate and handle hints than whether you've seen the problem before.

Also don't neglect projects and basic CS (DBMS, OS, networks). Many freshers get rejected in those rounds after clearing DSA.
